Moedwil Combined School Celebrates Heritage Day: Unity in Diversity

On the 24th of September 2025, Moedwil Combined School came alive with vibrant colours, traditional music, and the spirit of Ubuntu as learners and staff celebrated Heritage Day under the theme “Embracing Our Roots, Celebrating Our Diversity.

The day was filled with joy and pride as learners arrived dressed in a rich display of cultural attire, representing the many traditions that make up South Africa’s beautiful mosaic of identities. From Setswana to isiZulu, Isiswati to Sepedi, and beyond — the celebration showcased the unity and mutual respect that define the school’s ethos.
